Matrix, now Sylvie - Adopted September 15, 2023

History:   Matrix came to TAGS from Greyhounds as Pets, New South Wales, Australia.  She arrived in the U.S. on September 14, 2023 after a 15-hour flight from Sydney (and spent the night in a pet hotel).  Matrix has been completely vetted (had lower canine extracted when her teeth were cleaned).   Her dam is Jimary Magic and her sire is Don’t Knocka Him.   According to Greyhound-Data,  she had 32 races, with 8 wins. The handlers at Greyhounds as Pets said Myra is “a cool, calm chick”.  She is full of life, loves going for walks, and is excited to meet new friends.   She will need time to adjust to pet life and adjust to the Texas weather since it is winter in Australia.

 It is amazing how quickly these dogs seem to adopt. She came out of the back at the pet hotel just wagging her tail.  She jumped into the car and lay down all the way back to Dallas. She met the other Greyhounds in the house and afterwards immediately found a dog bed for herself. She is very sweet and friendly.
